ABOUT ME
Formally trained as a Paramedic, I've spent the last 15 years training and educating healthcare professionals. My passion for education started at a young age and was influenced by a family of educators. I completed my Emergency Medical Technician training in 2000. Since that time, I've worked in a wide range of healthcare roles.
I spent ten years working for the Children's National Healthcare System as a Critical Care Paramedic on the Transport Team. During my time at Children's National, I developed my skillset as a Clinical Educator. I completed facilitator and instructor training in conflict resolution, workplace mediation, and soft skills such as Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability. I also taught healthcare base training such as ACLS, PALS, BLS, and Difficult Airway courses.
Currently, I work for the Nation's largest pediatric urgent care where I established their first virtual and asynchronous learning environment. In this role, I've been fortunate to develop a wide range of eLearning modules, videos, and robust training solutions to keep our employees trained, credentialed, and compliant.
